Global Address List

The list is periodically synchronized with local user database and directory servers (Active Directory, Open Directory) in order to provide fresh and up-to-date contacts information. The list is also available in all supported clients as a special Public Folder which allows users to view or print full contact information including postal address, telephone number etc.

Kerio Sync Connector for Mac offers an unique way how to organize your contacts in Apple Address Book. It is possible to create groups of contacts in Apple Address Book and manage these groups in all other supported email and groupware clients. Groupware clients like Microsoft Outlook with Kerio Outlook Connector or Kerio WebMail use native support for contact categories which represent contact groups synchronized from Apple Address Book.
Spam Filter Improvements
State-of-the-art anti-spam solution in Kerio MailServer has been improved to provide even more accurate and faster spam filtering. The Spam Filter can now utilize more CPUs and handle more emails in the message queue at once. Integrated SpamAssassin solution has been updated to the latest 3.2.5 version. We’ve improved speed and performance of maintenance of anti-spam databases for auto-whitelist and Bayes tokens in order to improve stability and
accuracy. Bayes spam filter is now auto-learned with emails which got high score in other tests, such as DNS blacklists.
Update of integrated McAfee anti-virus
Integrated McAfee anti-virus is now using the latest version 5.3.0.0 with improved speed of scanning and lower memory footprint.

2 Changes in System Requirements
Further unsupported
• Mac OS X 10.3 (Panther)
• Fedora 7 / 8
New supported platforms
• Ubuntu Linux 8.04 LTS (libstdc++5 package is required)
• Debian Linux 5.0 (libstdc++5 package is required)
• All 64-bit versions of supported Windows and Linux systems (in 32-bit mode).
3 Kerio MailServer
Upgrade
• Spam Filter in Kerio MailServer 6.7.0 is running in two processes. This increases requirement for system memory (RAM) for about 35 MB. Systems with minimum required RAM (512MB) may experience worse performance and bigger usage of system swap.
• Messages deleted in IMAP are automatically moved to the Deleted Items older on the server. Some email clients (Apple Mail, Thunderbird, etc.) may be configured to automatically move deleted messages to a special folder (Trash, Deleted Items, etc.). Only messages marked as deleted in the IMAP client are moved to the Deleted Items folder by the server. Messages moved by the client are kept intact.
• Antispam whitelist database maintained by SpamAssassin (AWL) is migrated to the new format upon Kerio MailServer upgrade. This may cause a few minutes delay in antispam processing during first start of Kerio MailServer after the upgrade. Spam Filter in Kerio MailServer 6.7.0 also contains new maintenance agent which will periodically clean up old items from the whitelist and Bayes database files. The agent is started automatically on the ackground. Database cleanup may cause a few minutes delay in email delivery when processing email in the Spam Filter.
• DNS blacklists from DSBL.org (list.dsbl.org and unconfirmed.dsbl.org) are removed on the upgrade from the configuration. Distributed Sender Blackhole List (DSBL) has been closed by the owners.
Downgrade to previous version
No downgrade issues.
